Keita "Konnie" Aoki

A Tokyo-based music producer and director, lyricist, and translator, and the President and CEO of EVOQUE Inc., MAJEC, and En. Since 2016 he has worked as a director on the music production of the Love Live! series, and has contributed to numerous related songs across many other anime titles. He wrote the English lyrics for every song on YOASOBI's English releases and oversaw their vocal production direction. The track "Idol" (English version) became the first song by a Japanese artist to reach No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard "Global Excl. U.S." chart. On titles such as the Netflix anime ULTRAMAN Seasons 2 & 3 and the Code Geass theatrical films, he has handled both theme-song lyrics and production direction at once, consistently delivering creative work attuned to the times. For many years he has devoted himself to production that brings Japanese entertainment content to audiences around the world.
